SEED
in a wasteland
I grow skyward
I salute the bears
birds are my friends
my religion is water
I pray to sunbeam
flower is my sister
I live on earth
I have the roots where the apple is
I have no homeland
I hug the air
my gaze flies free to the eternal
blue sky.
