My Peace Is Different

 Mauricio Gomes

I do not want this white,

pale, sneaky peace.

Made in laboratories and cabinets

I do not want a quieter peace

between barbed wires and barricades

I do not want peace

in a white bombshell

My peace has blood

flowing in its veins.

He is live! rosy

He walks, he does not fly!

He carries the ancestral force of humans
